Well, the movie was made by a veteran.
I saw it when it came out, in a theater. When the movie ended you could not hear anyone, nobody moved and when we exited, the silence was eerie. I was exhausted. The movie is intense+

Sneaking those two people’s hearts past customs must have been a doozy.
I heard it’s the same as a watch.
When I was 3-4 years old I would rent this movie every weekend. I have no fucking idea why my parents let me watch this all the time.
If my 3 year old was going out and renting a movie on their own, I probably wouldn’t stop them from watching it either.
They did a big boy job and deserve that treat.
Wtf is a “people heart”? You mean Purple Heart?
Thank you for kindly bringing my attention to that error. It was a very important point and I’m glad I was able to correct it.
It’s interesting that the link you posted indicates the purple hearts he received were probably part of the surplus manufactured in WWII, in anticipation of the losses they expected in the invasion of Japan, which never happened.
Who is the “he” you are referring to?
The veteran I met today, in the post.
84 Charlie Mopic has apparently had similar statements made from other veterans
