“And He made a scourge of cords, and drove them all out of the temple, with the sheep and the oxen; and He poured out the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables;” John 2:15

He actually tried to flee afterward, so it’s not like he really wanted to trade his life for the CEO.

Unless he wanted to get caught. If this really is the same guy (which I’m not entirely convinced yet).

His social media fits the bill. He reviewed the book his casing referenced, he had a history of spinal surgeries the X-Rays of which were his banner. He praised one author for saying peaceful protest were ineffective. His high school acquaintances say he went a little crazy after his back problems started, he lost contact with a lot of people in the months prior to the event.

He was caught with a Fake ID, a real firearm, and $10,000 cash.

Chances are his plan was to fade away, start a new life, but in his sleep deprived state wandered into a McDonalds near or in a Mall.

In a place where nobody would ever look for it, then yeah, but if he didn’t have that chance then it would be stupid to leave a trail of evidence. Idk about the specifics of it’s manufacturing (it was a 3D printed gun) but it might be pretty incriminating if they found it and compared it to files on his computer or matching filaments.

The best way to hide any crime is to leave nothing. No traces whatsoever.

He crossed several states iirc, that’s several hours of driving. Couldn’t he have thrown the gun into the wilderness or some lake mid road?? In European terns that’s like comitting a crime in Spain and getting caught in Germany because you didn’t dispose of the gun across two countries.

              Weird.

He took a bus. Bus drivers don’t appreciate you throwing things out the window, and other passengers might notice if a guy dressed like the CEO killer tosses a weapon.
