    The fact that starlink, with 5000 at that time, accounted for half of all satellites in orbit is not a fun fact.

    There’s another 7k starlink satellites set to launch. To provide expensive internet to a few million.

    I have trouble believing 12,000 satellites are necessary… for internet.
