It’s like the old saying, “If you see a child stealing food, no you didn’t.”

          Nah.

Rich people steal for “fun” sometimes.

And something like baby formula is often stolen to be sold overseas, not because they needed it.

Maybe so. But if there’s any possibility it’s a genuine need, don’t ruin a baby’s chance to get fed.

              Uhhh?

These people stripped shelves empty, causing many babies to go hungry because nothing was in stock.

It’s designed to trigger someone’s ingrained beliefs, the others are stealing not “the corporations with incentive to restrict supply to increase profits are taking advantage of people’s beliefs”

Unless you’re that store’s manager, you should be more upset that people who are hungry aren’t being fed to the point they resort to theft.

Actually, you should be more upset by that either way. I understand not wanting to support theft of food just to eat but something is wrong when you condemn it.

The question is about which is worse: do you what kids to suffer to make sure nobody can enrich themselves. Or do you allow some scumbags through the net but no child goes hungry?

Ideally of course you could have both but that would first require a few guillotined politicians and capitalists.

I mean they say this is the guy they’re looking for…but is it?? I don’t recognize him at all. Also he doesn’t seem to have that fancy backpack in between pictures. This leads me to believe that these are 2 separate dudes. Clothing colors are also different.

      We don’t know.

I’m gonna sound like a conspiracy theorist, but what do you think happens if they can’t find a perpetrator? They find a scapegoat. They do that often, even with low-profile cases, what makes you think they won’t do it for a high-profile case?

To the people of New York:

We have a responsibility as citizens to respect our civic duty to justice. You may be selected for a jury to try a suspect for this murder. It may be the one responsible, it may be a scapegoat. In either case, after the judicial proceedings, you will be asked to assent to a verdict. On that day, you will be required to ensure justice is served. On that day, remember just two words: jury nullification.

I mean there’s a million eyes on them, they’re either gonna get the right or the whole DA is gonna be in a world of shit.

If it comes out they intentionally framed someone cause they couldn’t find the right guy, there’s no way this won’t come out. Already disregarding the heightened likelyhood on jury nullification and general unwillingness for the public to cooperate.

There’s so many news stations in proximity and so many people who’d speak out in a nanosecond, they can’t even get to fuck around before they find out.

Just pointing out that had it been an average Joe who got assassinated and we had a clear picture of the killer’s face we wouldn’t even have heard about it on the news. Now they want everyone to look for him.

To be fair, a c level assassination is news, whereas a murder in a big city is not. It’s not about the chicken, but the seasoning and presentation, young chef.

You state this as a norm, to me your perspective of this as an acceptable norm is the problem itself.

        My thoughts :
Your post states authoritatively what the norm is. No challenge here, that is the norm. True.

        but…
Why is that the accepted norm?

        and…
What causes that to be the accepted norm?

        so…
So if net worth affects the public services you receive in the form of police assistance, bounties, etc… isn’t that an indicator of a larger problem?

        so…
Who benefits from the stated norms?

        and…
Should we change those “norms”, kinda seems unfair huh?

        Yes.

Not perfectly written, but I think you get my jist. I’m so tired of people stating the norms of society as if they are immutable truths and not symptoms of a broken system.

        Have a nice day.

I like thinking he was avenging some family member(s) who died due to claim denials, or something along those lines. If we find out he’s some Qanon weirdo operating on some conspiracy about endrinochrome or whatever, it’s really going to dampen the vibes.

I get the point of this meme but if you look at the photo of the assassin he’s wearing a beige backpack with beige shoulder straps. This just seems like a guy wearing a similar jacket on the wrong day.
