I wonder if it was functional or ceremonial? It’s fascinating either way.
I’d almost like it better if it was one of hundreds, something normal to them. Common. Everyday. We see it as marvelous. Perhaps they saw it as useful.
I like to think it was some ancient dude’s or family’s equivalent of Bard with the Black Arrow
