I guess, this is somewhat tangential and should not detract from this tool, but I really don’t like this concept of just giving everything a hue (which I believe was established by Google’s Material You).
It leads to worse contrast and too often, it’s used as a replacement for personality, with which it stands at complete odds. You can’t pick out of a catalog of 360 pre-made looks and expect it to be personal to you (not to mention that it’s much less than 360 that are actually discernible).
Your comment in no way detracts. The comments at Hacker News are basically all critical and with good reasons. I posted this for some useful discussion and to encourage someone to think about four-color theory, but not because I think this is a be-all, end-all tool.
