We know our dollars don't stretch as far as it used to at the grocery store, but we wanted to know which stores have the lowest prices on their store brand staples and why they differ between stores.

    The biggest different in these for me is atmosphere/cleanliness and quality of store brands. I’d choose HEB for both of those any day. I rarely go to the Walmart that’s 6 blocks from my house or the HEB that’s 8 miles away. Usually do the Kroger and sprouts that are 2 miles from home.
