Sound is good, nice and full. But I feel like there’s something missing, I just can’t quite put my finger on it.

Loving that guitar sound, I’ve definitely missed these guys the past decade or so.

They’re verrrry close physically and influentially of the SweDeath sound, even located like an hour north of Gothenburg lol. Some of their members have been in At The Gates, The Haunted, etc.

While Exodus isn’t really anywhere near my favorite, I think it would still be the best contender for a 5th. I suppose it’s because of the time frame of their releases, relative to the other four, and being located in the USA. Not to mention their success more than any other band NOT being Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth or Anthrax.

Definitely Exodus hands down.

I never got into them at all during my school years, I thought Mustaine was so prima donna, being a Metallica kid lol but after growin up I find Megadeth and Mustaine to definitely have merit. I mean how did they become one of the ‘big four’ if they didnt? :D

Funny you should mention Immortal… Abbath made a side project back in 2005 called I. Yes, the letter I lol. He made a blackened heavy metal album under that band’s name and it was glorious. Here’s the whole album!

When I first heard this track, I thought “oh boy we’re back to the nu-metal era again.” But as it progressed along and got to the chorus as I was actually banging along lol. Gonna give this a chance in my playlist for a while!
