Seems like most open source project are leaving Google’s official store? That’s nice but will leave out some potential visibility for people who have no idea other than Google Store.

I can use VM maybe but I don’t want to pay for the Windows license.
If this is your only concern, there’s a script floating arround on github (MAS 104k *) that activate any Windows version.

But you have enough keywords to find your way with any search engine if that’s a route you would consider.
They mostly don’t give a fuck about what you download. Just don’t share the stuff forward.
That’s a no go in the P2P community. Leeching is bad for the whole network and for everyone else. Especially on public torrents.
Are there any benefits in switching to emacs (or vim?) for casual “power users”? I mean, I do a lot of editing with nano over ssh from a linux desktop or macOS and I get mostly frustrated over shortcuts while editing configuration files and tiny easy to use bash scripts.
I already had the cognitive dissonance if I should learn either emacs or vim to improve editing speed, but still nano fullfills all my needs :/.
Seeing your post, raises the same question again. Care to give some personal experience?

I just read “open source alternative/hamachi” and I’m already hooked ! Brings back good old memories how I used to play splinter cell coop over Hamachi.
Thanks for sharing, will give it a try someday after I finished other projects in my homelab
