Bought a used N64 a few years back, grabbed some essential games, but needed controllers.
Ordered 4, 2 had bad sticks. Returned those for 2 more, one had a bad stick. Returned that and finally had a full set.
If we actually played like we did back in the day, I’d have needed to replace them all at least twice by now.

I have Boardgamearena.com in the background of my browser. I often have a few board games going at once. You take your turn, and it alerts you when it’s your turn again. There are also games you can play solo if you don’t wait to wait around for others.
My wife is in charge of the remote for exactly that reason. I trust her judgement and I don’t waste 2 hours scrolling through nothing.
I don’t mind watching movies, but it’s really hard for me to DECIDE to watch a movie.
If someone asks if I want to watch a movie, the time commitment makes me say no (unless it’s something I’ve REALLY wanted to see), but I’ll happily agree to watch a TV show and still end up watching 3 hours or more worth of episodes.

I usually associate stocking stuffers to under $5 or even $10.
But it could also mean, “small enough to get lost under the tree” so you put it in the stocking so it isn’t misplaced in all the wrapping paper and boxes.
