The 0.18 version of the AndroidTV client fixes the subtitle loading issue, and it offers trickplay (scrubbing with images) as an experimental feature you can turn on, assuming you’ve generated the trickplay images server-side.
If you add yourself to the Play Store beta for the app it should update to 0.18 right away, otherwise the rollout for it is in progress.
Any other issues? I hang out with the Jellyfin devs in their chatrooms, could relay issues to them.

IMO it is worth being proud of the times you realized you were wrong. Most people live unexamined or underexamined lives. Having fewer moments when you realized you were wrong is not even remotely close to having been wrong fewer times. If anything it indicates the opposite: those with fewer wrongness-realizations will continue to be wrong in myriad subtle and humorously obvious ways.
I love this response because it might make the other person realize they have no clue how often they’re wrong.
I use Bazarr to find subtitles. You can set it to only find Forced or to find the regular track for your language of choice and Forced, and it’s trivial to set it to include the file itself in the search for subtitles so it’ll only download subtitles for videos that are missing the subtitles.
It’s also great because it can automatically sync the downloaded subtitles to the actual video’s audio, or the existing subtitle track if one exists (like if you just have the full subtitle track and want to sync the Forced track)
Scientific studies have shown that curse words relieve physical pain better than any alternatives.
So there are some situations where anything else is an objectively worse option.
ETA: I’m willing to bet the reason this is being downvoted is due to the holier-than-thou attitude you’re copping, OP. It’s also something of a classist-coded cliché to claim that people who curse lack vocabulary, intelligence, education, or creativity. This is, of course counter to the fact that studies have shown that people with higher intelligence are more likely to use salty language.
This. This may be a moment where American class consciousness has flickered to life, but without theory and organized movements nothing will come of it besides crackdowns.
