People used to think so highly of CEOs, that they must be doing something right if they got to where they are. They must be smarter and have all the answers.
Now people are realizing CEOs are just rich scumbags.

I still wonder if that was actual monopoly money or if they were just talking about Canadian dollars.
Also an important statistic left out of the summary: support among Republicans has grown to 32%
(which is still a hilariously low number, of course)
edit: I was curious so I checked the data in the source of the article, and I had ChatGPT do the math, and it came up with this: (0.33x0.9) + (0.25 x 0.32) + (0.42x0.65) = 62% support = 33% democrats, 25% republicans, 42% independants. That seems about right, even though the latest presidential elections didn’t indicate that, oof.
Healthcare companies, especially insurance companies, make a living out of denying claims so that people go bankrupt and/or die from denied claims. It’s unethical and downright evil, but they do it anyway. It would be hard not to hate the CEOs of those companies. After all, medical expenses is the leading cause of bankruptcies in USA.
Healthcare fucks over everyone equally, it doesn’t discriminate.
They wake up one morning and their dad’s been shot and literally the entire internet is celebrating? That’s absolutely brutal.
Imagine instead if they’re like “nah, yeah, I get it, I get what you mean, he was kind of a dick”
lol
That’s one thing I really hate and why video game preservation is so important. We need to keep games alive forever so future generations can enjoy the classics and all the masterpieces out there.
I think a lot, or maybe even most of them don’t really care about effect on the populace, just the effect on the 1% richest of the population. It is sad to see.
