Agreed, but we dont have a UI for users without JS

I do have experience with NGOs. The only issue with them is that capitalism doesn’t allow ethical business to thrive.
If for profit companies were outlawed, they’d function much better
Can you link me to a Lemmy UI that doesn’t require JS?
I said nonprofit. NGO. As in non government organization.
This is a design flaw. The service that your JS queries can return HTML just as easily as it can return json that gets rendered on the page with JavaScript.
Yeah I wouldn’t call any of these sites underground. If we dont know about them, blame Lemmy users and mods.
Is it still developed?
The most used UI for Lemmy is developed by the Lemmy project. Lemmy UI is modular, but Lemmy is definitely also a UI.
Lol no. We need a UI that doesn’t require JavaScript.
Wtf. Journalism is definitely not dead. We just need to stop linking to corporate news outlets.
Zateo, democracy now, the intercept, truth out, common dreams, etc. There’s loads of great media outlets out there…
Maybe we should just ban the corporate ones from this community? Or create a new community that only allows links to nonprofit news outlets?
Post links to articles, not screenshots of articles. Downvoted and reported.
Pumping bullets into executives is my fav way to pump & dump.
Is that like tightening the belt, but for CEOs?
Some would argue that should be the case for all companies.
Imagine how much better for profit companies would function if they didn’t have investors skimming off their profits.
For profit companies should be illegal.
It worked! This is a valid tactic.
It does if you’re sending them a message they can’t ignore
Does your plus-one imaginary friend give you a hand with your wood?
Not just Foss, but also open hardware.
And Lemmy mods: stop banning open hardware projects. Just because we happen to sell stuff doesn’t make us spam
I mean thats not a bad policy to prevent misinformation, if thats why
Again, if that’s the case then we have nobody to blame but ourselves. We’re on a link sharing site ffs. We post the links and we make the rules for which sites are allowed.
I do my part to report people who just post screenshots of articles and downvoting links to corporate news sites with pro-corporate narratives, but we all must do our part. And the mods need to do their job too.
