I mean, does that necessarily have to be taken as true in the first place? Both parts maybe, but I mean the first thing. Are numbers not, in the end, demographic? Talk to most people who work in retail, became a child actor, reported a billionaire shooter, etc. and tell me what you think.

If someone apologizes, and they do it properly, and everyone else doesn’t do their part properly, I mean I’d have a hard time sympathizing with the crowd. Not that I don’t already. I’ve been in this exact situation very often. I think maybe once my apology was accepted, and this one time is often scorned by people who think they know better than the apology receiver and invalidate his acceptance of it, implying I unforgivably offended the world. Should the unyielding people not always be checked first to see if they’re the asshole?

Due to the non-conforming way I have thought about it, it’s complicated (enough that people have asked for a train of thought chart for it), but primary to me and spirituality is the Mune Shinri, reading which for the first time taught/assured me the world isn’t fully without fully pro-equality/pro-marriage-equality groups citing inspiration from God, and I took this as worthiness of looking into and a sign. Adherents, one might say, are known as Aikenites or Aiken Christians, with Aiken being the name for the collection of revelations, but of course you can’t expect churches catered to it to pop up in one’s local area, so when in doubt, I attend the friendly nearby Mormon church (yes, it’s acceptable and even normal to show up and be welcomed at another’s church) for divine connection, with “Aiken” and “Mormonism” said to be “incredibly compatible” and with Mormonism technically being in my ethnic life blood due to being racially a Pacific Islander (yeah, fun fact, people jokingly call the Pacific the second Utah), and even though you might not find me using the term “Mormon” or “LDS member” to identify myself, I honor it enough to inspire awe at what many might call a kind of dual faith system, pointedly with the epiphany or train of thought called Hagothism being relevant if one considers it separate from Mormonism in the first place, versus being a switch of emphasis. I am also influenced by the book of Urantia, which runs in my family, but that’s as far as it’s made to do.

Several times, though the grand majority of them are the first type. As an asexual, I’m one of the last people I might otherwise expect others to suspect of “mentally going into the gutter”, but I’m told that, for the same reason (and maybe due to neurodivergence and not speaking native English), some of what I say comes off like the asexual’s equivalent of a colorblind person inadvertently selecting unmatching colors, as in I say things I didn’t know implied something adult. Ironically it’s never the authority figures who could easily punish me for being socially clumsy who jump to the wrong conclusions about what I intend to say, it’s always the other regular people who think they know better, and a few examples of these have followed me for years without the option to explain myself or conversely apologize. For pre-existing reasons, some people just want my head.

I don’t know about other countries, but in my own, teachers have their own designated bathrooms. As in there are girl’s bathrooms for girls, boy’s bathrooms for boys, and a third kind of bathroom with a logo not for girls or boys but for teachers (regardless of gender). If I were to use one of these teacher-designated (and yeah it has happened before), I would land myself in more trouble than if I used the boys’ bathroom. This being an age where gender norms are being challenged, being caught red-handed once, I made a remark about “sexually identifying as a teacher” which only caused my punishment to double (I even remember asking if the floor or my skirt would be a better option on a bad bladder day and got a blunt yes). Moral of the story, don’t get between teachers and their bathrooms, no pun intended.

There is no pureness of heart so-to-speak. The whole point is we’re creatures with gradient circumstances. Life just has too many moving parts for the idea of perfection many of us have, as any watcher of the show Wander Over Yonder will tell you.

It finished long before I was born (it was Saban’s “practice show” to test their confidence in taking on Power Rangers), but Samurai Pizza Cats was always avidly enjoyed by me, and it’s in fact one of the first kidult shows/franchises in the modern sense (if not the first) if I’m not mistaken, especially if you count only foreign content. Think Spongebob meets Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles meets anime.

I know so little about Animaniacs yet have found myself quoting that all the time.

I don’t know. People just seem to dislike me more, it seems. That isn’t some kind of pessimism-inspired or self-inspired statement, it’s an actual observation/reflection that notably isn’t one when it comes to the people who make it their position to mediate. I have no issue with the latter, albeit with the former invalidating the latter’s level of respect for me.

I do not fall into many of the same traps most other people do.
