We’re talking 90’s SMT in a Gameboy Color, right? Nothing too microscopic on the board?
I’m sure the GBC would be easier to repair on a component level; less components and overall simpler board design. Only exception could be the screen.
There are folks who make new screens specifically for them.
But replacing the screen isn’t as trivial as it may be on the Chromatic.
